Brahim Bousnguar

Tech lead · senior e-commerce integration consultant

Brahim Bousnguar

I connect SAP Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft and Salesforce into integration architectures that ship.

9+ years on enterprise commerce platforms: tech lead on two SAP Commerce migrations, now setting the API standards on a MuleSoft estate. On the side, open-source agent tooling, an MCP server in front of this site, and notes on what I learn. Based in Nantes, France — currently delivering through SQLI.

01 — What I do

The layer in the middle.

The storefront and the back office each do their job. My work is the part that makes them talk: reusable APIs, data mapping and error handling that hold up in production.

Commerce

SAP Commerce Cloud

  • CCv2 · OCC APIs
  • Spartacus storefronts
  • B2B and B2C catalogues

Integration layer

MuleSoft Anypoint

  • Experience APIs
  • Process APIs · orchestration
  • System APIs · DataWeave mapping

Back office

Salesforce · ERP

  • CRM data flows
  • Pricing, inventory, orders
  • PIM · OMS · payments

API-led connectivity keeps the System, Process and Experience layers separate, so one system can change without breaking the others.

02 — Client work

Selected work

01 2025 — now Ongoing

Roche Bobois — API-led integration architecture

Problem
E-commerce, ERP, CRM and third-party services exchanged data through point-to-point flows that were hard to monitor and evolve.
Built
Reusable APIs on MuleSoft Anypoint, complex DataWeave transformations, robust error handling and orchestration across systems — including Salesforce CRM flows.
Result
One observable integration backbone across order, CRM and ERP flows, with API governance standards adopted by the team.

  • DataWeave
  • Salesforce
  • Orchestration

02 2022 — 2024 Completed

Miele — cloud-native commerce migration

Problem
A global B2C platform on on-premise SAP Hybris was limiting scalability and deployment speed.
Built
Zero-downtime migration to SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2), OCC API optimisation, Jenkins CI/CD and a first SAP BTP Kyma proof of concept.
Result
A cloud-native platform serving global B2C traffic with better performance and continuous deployment.
  • SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2
  • Jenkins
  • SAP BTP Kyma

03 2018 — 2021 Completed

BYK — multi-country B2B platform

Problem
An ageing SAP Hybris 6.7 B2B platform could not support a multi-country rollout or headless capabilities.
Built
Led the migration to Commerce Cloud CCv2 with SAP ERP integrations for pricing, inventory and orders, plus custom OCC APIs for B2B workflows.
Result
One B2B platform serving 15+ countries with real-time ERP data and headless commerce.
  • SAP Commerce Cloud
  • SAP ERP
  • OCC APIs

03 — AI in delivery

AI tooling I build and ship

AI is in my delivery loop every day: Copilot, a commit-and-PR CLI of my own, Claude and Codex for review. When the gap is bigger than a prompt, I build the tool and open-source it — an MCP server that reads a Mule estate's logs, a README generator that may only state what a scan verified, a meter for what the tooling actually costs.
